This Colony is part of the State of Aragua. It is approximately 63 kilometers outside Caracas, to the west. It is without a doubt one of the most charming places of Venezuela. It is like a piece of the German Black Forest, found in the Coastal Mountain Ranges. The first colonists who arrived in our country, in a more or less haphazard way, established themselves in these beautiful parts in 1843, from Black Forest towns such as Whyl, Edingen and Oberbergen of Kaiserstuhl
