The first settlers came to our country, more or less organized way, were established in these beautiful places in 1843, coming from towns of the Selva Negra, such as Whyl, Edingen and Oberbergen of Kaiserstuhl.
Colonia Tovar is a part of Aragua state, and lies coming out of Caracas heading west, approximately 63 miles. It is one of the most enchanting places of Venezuela, unparalleled and unexpected. A piece of the Selva Negra in southwest Germany, located in the Coastal Range. It is accessible from all major cities in the centre. Its hotels along with the landscape and climate are the ideal atmosphere for the enjoyment of a vacation with full relax and healthy entertainment. It is important to make reservations in advance because the capacity of the hotels is limited.
